Topping Base Brixton was always going to be a monumental challenge. So, for adidas' 2016 football range, we built a completely bespoke live TV studio on the car park roof at BBC Television Centre. Obviously.
With such an iconic set we needed a worthy programme concept to match. So we called up the legendary F2 Freestylers and, together, created The F2 Show - a four-part web-TV series filmed in front of a live audience.
Each episode featured unique freestyle routines from the F2 boys, live football challenges, interviews with Premier League stars and music performances from our special guests.
Each night, 200 fans had the chance to win tickets to attend the filming of the episode. Our football fairground kept them entertained in the pre-show arena - with adidas prizes to be won and pop-up food stalls to satiate their hunger.
Of course, every TV programme needs its identity. So we created all branding, title sequences, idents, social teasers and commissioned bespoke theme music for the show.
To date, The F2 Show mini series has amassed over 6 million views, and counting. Watch the episodes below.
