Welcome to Base Brixton. For 6 red hot days in August 2015, this vibrant little village in South London became the home of football. A place where those in love with the beautiful game could come together, test their skills and meet their heroes.

In an unprecedented move, adidas killed off their entire football footwear range including Predator - the world's most revered boot. In replacement, they introduced just two new products - X and Ace. Designed for players who changed the game, or controlled the game.

Base Brixton was split into two key areas. First, a tournament arena, where teams battled it out for the chance to represent the UK at the international competition in Marseille.  Next, a skill zone, where players could test their ability through a series of immersive and interactive footballing challenges.

Throughout the week, Base Brixton played host to global music stars, footballing heroes, and was the venue for a new Manchester United kit launch.

The event seamlessly integrated with the wider global launch campaign. We combined tactical, local media driving to the event with some monumental Out of Home sites, including a media-first animated light display on the London IMAX.
